Lock apparatus comprising a housing in which is movably supported a locking member for movement between locked and unlocked positions. The housing and locking member have aligned bores containing blocking pins supported for movement between a first position in which the locking member is movable relative to the housing and a second position in which the blocking pins block movement of the locking member relative to the housing. A plate-like key member and a plate-like code member are respectively insertable into slots provided in the housing. The bores in the housing and locking member are arranged in a predetermined pattern and the plate-like members have respective regions corresponding to the location of the bores in the pattern. The key and code members are provided with holes at the regions corresponding to the location of the bores in such an arrangement that there is one thickness of material of a card at each bore whereas at the remainder of the card outside the regions corresponding to the bores, there are two thicknesses of material. The differences in the thickness of material is employed to mechanically move the blocking pins to the first position when at each of the regions corresponding to the bores there is but a single thickness of material.

The invention relates to locking devices, in particular to a coding device that can be used in locks to lock rooms in hotels and other public facilities.
Known closest to the invention, the code device for the lock, comprising a housing having a transverse. openings in which the locking pins are located, a longitudinal cutout for a plate key with code holes and a movable bar installed in the housing and having transverse blind holes in which spring-loaded pins are located £ 1].
However, a lock with such a device does not have sufficient secrecy, since the code in it is replaced if it is detected by an unauthorized person when the code device is completely disassembled, which reduces the usability of the lock.
The purpose of the invention is to increase secrecy, security and ease of use of the castle.
This goal is achieved by the fact that the housing has a card with code holes, an additional longitudinal. a cutout for the card, located in accordance with the longitudinal cutout for the key, and balls installed in the transverse holes of the housing above the locking pins.

The lock code device comprises a housing 1 having transverse openings 2 in which locking pins 3 are located. The housing has a longitudinal cutout 4 for a plate wrench 5 made with code holes 6 that are definitely placed on its plane. · A movable strap 7 is installed in the housing transverse blind holes 8 ^ -8 g , in which the spring-loaded pins are located 9. The movable bar is connected by a rod 10 with a latch 11 of the lock 12.
The housing 1 of the device has a card 13 with code holes 14 located not in the area of the code holes £ of the plate key 5, i.e., when combining the planes of the card and the plate key, the code holes in the card are made where the plate key does not have them and vice versa. An additional longitudinal cutout 15 for the card 13, located under the longitudinal cutout 4, is made in the housing. Balls 16 and 17 are installed in the transverse holes 2 of the housing 1, located above the locking pins 3, while the upper row of balls 16 serves to interact with the plate wrench 5, and bottom row. balls 17 - with card 13.
The device operates as follows.
In the initial position of the device, when the card 13 and the plate wrench 5 are removed from the housing 1, the spring-loaded pins 9 intersect the C – C connector line formed between the housing and the movable bar 7, preventing the latter from moving relative to the housing.
Before closing the lock with the key, its code device is classified, for which the card 13 is inserted into the longitudinal cutout 15 of the housing 1, while the pins 3 and 9 located in the holes 8 E and 8 + will move down by an amount equal to the thickness of the card, and their contact the ends will be installed on the line of the CC connector, and the pins located in the holes 8 ^, 8 2 and b will remain in the blocking position, since the balls 17 located above them will be installed in the code holes, 14 of the card 13.
To open the lock, the plate key 5 is inserted into the longitudinal cutout 4 of the housing 1, thereby acting on the upper row of balls 16, at the same time a part of these balls located in the holes 8¾ and 84 will be installed in the code holes 6 of the key 5, and the other part together with the lower balls 17 and pins 3 and 9 located in the holes 8 ^, 8 2 , 8-j, will move by an amount equal to the thickness of the wrench.
Thus, all the contacting ends of the pins 3 and 9 will be installed on the line of connector C — C and the bar 7 will be freed from blocking with the housing 1. Then, the bar and the associated latch 11 are moved by various means (not shown in the drawings) to the open position.

The invention relates to locking devices, in particular, to a code device which can be used in locks for locking hotel rooms and other public facilities. The lock code device closest to the invention is known, comprising a housing having transverse apertures in which locking pins are located, a longitudinal under a lamellar key with code holes, and a movable bar installed in the housing and having transverse blind holes in which spring pins are located. with such a device it does not possess sufficient secrecy since the replacement of the code in it in case of its discovery by an unauthorized person is made at the complete disassembly of the code device, which reduces the usability of the lock. The code device for locks comprises a housing 1 having transverse apertures 2 in which locking pins 3 are located. The housing has a longitudinal notch 4 under the lamellar key 5 made with code holes 6 definitely located on its plane. A movable bar 7 is installed in the housing. with transverse blind holes in which spring-loaded pins 9 are located. The movable plate is connected by a latch 10 with a latch 11 of the lock 12. The device body 1 has a card 13 with code holes 14 located not in the zone of code holes 6 lamellar key L, i.e., when combining the planes of the map and lamellar key, the code holes S of the map are made where the lamellar key does not have them and vice versa. An additional longitudinal cut-out 15 is made under the card 13 under the longitudinal cut-out 4.
